Aviation Museum (NASW)
Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum (NASW) is a former World War II Naval dive-bomber training facility located inside Hangar #1 at the Cape May Airport.
Exhibits at the museum include 26 historic aircraft, aircraft simulators, engines and military memorabilia. NASW contains a number of interactive displays about the science of flight. New for 2010 is an air traffic control tower which allows visitors to communicate with several of the aircraft. The museum also boasts an exhibit room recreating life in the 1940s, and many WWII-era posters, photographs, and articles.
NASW Aviation Museum is perfect for aviation history buffs and curious children alike; exhibits are rich with information but also hands-on and kid-friendly!
